How bad will that be? I honestly don't know and am interested in your thoughts.

Does the loss of revenue matter? My worry is that with FFP still not dead and buried, the loss of revenue will significantly damage our ability to spend and bring in the new talent we so obviously need? Or are we beyond all that now and our revenues are so far ahead of expenditure that it's irrelevant?

And what about our ability to attract top players? Will they come anyway, with the attraction of working for Pep?

And finally, is there any risk that Pep won't come if we finish say 6th?

In short, I can't figure out whether finishing outside the top 4 is a minor setback, or a complete and utter ****ing disaster?

Maybe we might have to be a bit more careful on who we piss 44 million away on?

If we do, id expect that Khaldoon and co will be getting a fucking rocket from the big man.

We wont be privy to it, more's the pity but it will happen.

Who cares really. City fans don't like the champs league anyway from what I can see although the scramble for psg tickets is interesting

No europe in his first season = Domestic treble

So no pressure pep....

I've gone from devastated yesterday to thinking maybe it won't be the end of the world. For me anyway the primary focus next season has to be to regain our premier league clown. The team is going to be adapting to a new style and we can all imagine that a fair few new players will be brought in too.

The positive is that because we have Pep he will still attract the players anyway. The downside is going to be the Thursday/Sunday playing scenario.

Which clown is that? There were plenty on show yesterday
