if we get Nasri

anyone worried about the salary difference? i mean if Nasri came and made 180 thousand pounds a week as romours now say, will other players who earn much less feel pissed off, especially those who have stayed with the club much longer?

The only players we have who were here before the Sheikh came are Hart Richards Zabaleta Kompany and Wright-Phillips. All but Wright-Phillips have been or will soon be offered new contracts and W-P may be sold soon. So I don't see that being a problem as everyone else will be on top money!

-- Thu Aug 11, 2011 4:04 pm --

Love to see him at the Etihad
Me too. As big a signing as Agüero for me. Not in name and stature or even quality, as Kun is literally a top top shit superstar. But the one thing we don't have in our whole squad is a fast, fit, skillful, creative, ball carrying, dribbling midfielder (who can also play as part of a front three). He is someone who can take us from defence to attack quickly and we simply didn't has this at all last season. We scored a total of 1 goal in 450 minutes of football away from home at the other top six sides last season, and the main reason for that was down to shockingly poor counter-attack football.

ESPN seem to think the money they save on Cec Fab will pay for Nasri's extra
pay. So there for he will stay. They said it not me.

If Nasri plays for Arsenal against Udinese, does that means he'll be cup-tied for the Champions League?

Aye, if he plays in any qualifying round and that team qualifies for the group stages, then e is cup-tied.
But Nasri is suspended for the first leg, so hopefully it will be done before the second leg. I reckon City will be delaying the move until after the first leg.

That is definatly the case, the deal will go through thursday earliest.

he has a 1 match suspension, so he's in the squad and obviously wont play so when we get him he'll be free to play in CL.

Happy days!

SWP to go this week and Nasri gets his No.8 Shirt!!
