Nigel De Jong starts for a Dutch International Team who are superior in quality to an English International Team which Scott Parker cant get near. I am therefore curious how you qualify Scott Parker into a better player than NDJ.

The Reason we bought NDJ when we did was to stop a bidding war in the summer, there would be no bidding war for scott parker.

Ashton is a half decent player but spends far too much of his time injured and we have already bought one of West Hams perma injured forwards we arent about to fund their assault on europe by buying another.

Eto'o and Henry are both top notch players and i dont think anyone would argue them being an improvement to our squad but the other two i dont think so!

I was more remarking on your assumption that because he plays for Holland he must be amazing.

By the way in response to your complete dearth of central midfielders. Out of the current dutch sides CM, 2 of them play for Real madrid and one for Bayern Munich so it is hardly a bunch of Mickey Mouse players.
