If we sack Hughes there would be no divide in our fans.

Everyone could get behind the new guy and we could all be happy. I personally don't like Hughes for reasons other than his tactical nouse and his bargain hunting skills (rag from the start) but If we got a new manager this in out debate would be gone and the arguments would be over. The results on the pitch couldnt get much worse, Unifying the fans is important, there cant be another club so divided in opinion as ours.

I'd love to say you are right, but it will be just as bad with every manager until we find that one man (Paul Daniels? David Blaine?) that can work a fucking miracle and literally turn a sows ear into a silk purse.

Until then, its false dawns akimbo.

I can't think of another time when our fans have been so divided, fuck is he good enough, he needs more time or any other shit. He might be good enough, he might be the right guy but he causes so much division, anger and to be honest hate that we need a manager we ALL can get behind.

Since the days of Swales fans have called for the heads of managers and usually got their wish, and there in lies the biggest problem at City!

Absolutely spot on. I think some people on here have only been watching City for about a week!

No your wrong, If the club decided to sack Hughes tomorrow there will be a lot of fans angry that he wasn't given the time to get the chairmans target for the season and that the owners have shown that they are no better than previous chairmen (Swales for Reid and Lee for sacking Horton) and that could well lead to yet more in fighting on here more arguements amongst fans at the ground. Yes we are split now don't for one second think a change will make it any better. Success would calm the anger as it will if Hughes gets us into Europe and/or wins a trophy.
