More importantly, who would replace him in the squad? As this is the area we have our second worst strength in depth and that's including Kolo (weakest is wide areas).
We don't need to sell anyone like Kolo or Adam Johnson. We actually need a bigger squad than we currently have, especially in centre half and wide positions, not thinning it down further.
Yet we are looking at De Rossi (if we actually are) when we have Yaya, de Jong, Barry, Milner and Rodwell for his position?!
Complete nonsense if you ask me!

Not sure I'd have a whole lot of faith in Zab at CB. He can be prone to the odd error which is almost always punished by a goal if your a CB. Plus, with Micah's injury record it's likely Zabba will play as many if not more games than Micah so if Kompany or Lescott are injured we'd have to choose between Savic at CB and Zab at RB or the other way around.
