If we turned out a team like Liverpool's in the FA Cup...

when will MP learn to prioritise...League/Champs League/Fa Cup/League Cup
League Cup should be for youth with less than handful of senior players.
FA Cup, schedule permitting and without compromising the others comps and player mgmnt should be a mix of 1st teamers with 3 or 4 youth or back up players.
What's the point of trying the impossible to win it all and screwing up the league..stupidity.
A relaity check is needed

I'd be excited to see how they get on. But would prefer it to be three or four kids in a senior squad than a youth team playing in a senior fixture.

I would prefer to see a mixed team of senior and junior players. It would be much better for the juniors to be playing alongside a few of the senior players.

I think we should be playing more kid's than we do especially in the league cup (earlier rounds) , but to be fair to whoever our manager is at the time, the pressure to win every game is so much that it's near impossible to take the chance.

Would you be:
A) Excited to see a team mainly of youngsters?
B) Furious at the club for disrepcting the competition?
I Think Liverpool disrespected ,there ,fans ,the competition. and Exeter and would be disappointed and furious if City ever did likewise .play a couple have a couple on the bench but play a team that will win

I'd be happy with just Kelechi tbh. I'd have to be seeing as we could be 3-0 up with 10 minutes left and he'd rather put Demichelis on in midfield, to shore it up, than give a youngster some gametime.

People aren't asking for a team like Liverpool though? They had to put the "majority" of them out because of injuries - granted Lallana and Lucas should/could have played. I think it's fair for us to hope that some extremely talented prospects will get more than the odd poultry two/three minute cameos especially in the earlier rounds of the cup competitions.

Its top four or bust for Liverpool this season , they have to finish ahead of Manure or Spurs assuming Leicester and we don't drop off a cliff and Klopp knows it.

They will never get a better chance and the clock is ticking.

The supporters will be wondering why the hell they got rid of the procrastinator for Klopp otherwise and it will become KD mark two once again.

The promised land that never was.

In saying all that I never seen a season where the likes of all of Arsenal , Chelsea , Liverpool , Manure and City have been so poor over 20 games.

it has to be a record number of points that these sides have dropped in over half a season to date.

Spurs are about where I thought they would be.

Last night was funny , it was like watching a premiership side as complete underdogs and everyone from the commentators down saying how amazing it was that they managed a 2-2 draw after really being in a situation where they should have been beaten comfortable which on the balance of play they should have been.

Enrique, Benteke and Smith alone should have been enough for them to win against this side comfortably.

No. I'm going to duck this one; in other words, chicken out.

difficult int it, if your board have said to you "Top 4, you must get us back in the champions league", then you are pretty much going to sack off everything else. Also after losing 3 players to injury on top of a reasonable sized injury list, you can see why overall.

But City's mandate is clearly to use resources to compete for everything, so we wouldnt, and id be annoyed to travel to Exeter to see that setup.

think the dippers hand was forced to a certain extent,we've got a bigger squad so its unlikely it would happen,if it did i think quite a few of us would like some kind of indication beforehand like Fat Sam gave out the other day,i'd give it a miss...save kickabouts for the Summer...

Blood one or two of them but not a whole team unless the injury situation was very severe. I certainly wouldn't have been happy going all the way to Exeter to see in effect an EDS team.

Furious for disrespecting our club and supporters

Had I bought a ticket and travelled all the way to the other end of the country to find that the EDS were carrying the flag it would be too late to do anything about it, but I would not be happy. I can see the EDS every home game they play but when you buy a ticket for what many think is the best cup competition in the world you are entitled to at least the majority of the starting eleven being regular first team players.
