Depends on whether you consider certain players to be glory hunters. I can't imagine Iniesta for example saying to himself I don't want to go to city because they came second in the league.

I think we have our eyes set on a few talents. Mancini does seem to have a way of tapping up players without really saying he wants them. "I like Hazard, but he's not in our plans". He did the same with de Rossi, "Mancini, likes me? He's a top manager". And so forth. If we want someone we probably already have him on our slate.

Absolutely right, we have already proved that we can challenge for the premier league title, whether we actually win it or not I think is pretty irrelevant to any incoming players. Success in the europa league might actually be more important, players want to play in the latter stages of the champions league, we need to show we can perform in europe
