IF we win the title against the Rags...

They'll bring their full allocation. Like last year and every year I've ever been to a derby at Maine Rd/Etihad. We'd do exactly the same - it's a derby.

Agreed.

We'd go to their gaff out of bloody mindedness & get right behind the team start to finish

That's what we do........I think they'll try the same.

Where was that pic from mate? Have you got a link?

I'm not 100% sure but I've a feeling it was from RED Emptyseats twitter page as that regularly highlights the myth that the rags always sell out games. The fact is that the rags have failed to fill their allocation for the Etihad derbies for the last few years. I recall that the first season with the expanded south stand about 7 other teams brought more fans than United including Bournemouth.

I’m not a United sympathiser, but I don’t believe they wouldn’t have sold out their allocation at the etihad.

There were empty seats in the away end (as shown in my originally posted pic) last season and in previous seasons. I'll dig out my programmes for the 2015-16 season later which is the season when the United away attendance was only about the 8th best as they show the number of away fans present every game.

Think this this thread's page count might go up a bit if we win tonight.

Don’t they often receive reduced allocations?

Are you sure? Haven't missed one for years and they are the same every time - gaps in the numbers, dark colours, hardly a peep out of them. Oh and they lit a red flare once. Tossers.

Depends if spurs win.

You're right, a win and a draw for us would put us on 85 points having played 32 games.

If Spurs win their next two games they would be on 67 points having played 32 games.

We would have an 18 point lead over Spurs with six games to go, which is not enough to be declared Premier League champions.

Yep. I know we’d be defacto champions but I don’t want those twats (rightly) clamming we ‘didn’t win the league against United’.

Right I know this will have been discussed a million times but I’ve lost track a bit of this whole issue since the Brighton game got moved.. if we win tonight and beat the rags are we mathematically champions?

Yes. Win our next two games and we'll be on 87 pts. Utd could only get to 86, Liverpool can only get to 84 and Spurs can only get to 85; I'm disregarding Chelsea and Arsenal.

If my maths are (is?) correct!

This is the table as of now (giving the rags three points for today);
