IF we win the title against the Rags...

Tonights horrible performance has knocked the stuffing out of me tonight , never thought we would fold in such a big game , i will be Ok in a couple of days and i will be right up for the derby game , we need a top performance against the Rags to put us in with a chance in the 2nd leg , the Dippers will have some doubts if we get an early goal next week.

They've averaged 3 goals a game in their last 6 away games. We will need a miracle to keep a clean sheet with our defence. While the second leg will be like watching a slow death a win on Saturday to wrap up a well deserved title will help to cheer some of us up but its shame we've missed out on the ultimate prize in football.

I never thought we could win the CL as long as Real or Barca were still in it but it's gutting to lose to these feral animals last night.
Let's just concentrate on beating United on Saturday and yes, that would make up for last night, let's not lose sight of that, it would be a once in a lifetime event. And if we can do that, I might just start to believe for the 2nd leg.

After we’ve got last night off our chests today we need to fully concentrate on this game.

It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to win the league against that lot. We will likely never have the opportunity ever again to do this.

No dwelling on last night, we’ve got to get ourselves up for the fight on Saturday!

Come on you Blues!

Would be an even bigger statement if we win 3/4-0 show Liverpool how to beat united and we are coming for them. I don’t think we have a hope but winning on Saturday would give a massively needed boost.

I think we’ve got to act like Liverpool and the game against them doesn’t exist until Sunday. The next three days we have one game against our arch rivals to win our fifth league title. Nothing else. Focus on one thing at a time.

Pep’s words after the Everton win about team selection showed he was thinking of the three games against Liverpool and United as a whole. It was weak to do that. You have to take it one game at a time and see where you stand after each one. No thoughts ahead of resting players or setting markers down for the next team. The one game in front of us is the only one that matters each time.

Threads on here saying “which game is most important?” And people’s replies of one or the other is the wrong way to look at things. Every time, the next game ahead of you is the most important game of the season.

I can’t believe this forum.

The day before this game this thread is 28 threads down the list, almost on the second page of the forum.

You all need to get a fucking grip!

Tomorrow is one of the biggest games in the club’s history and you wouldn’t even know we had a game.

I think I need to have a bit of time off this forum, you’re not for me half of you lot on here. It’s full of negative, defeatist posters who are dwelling on the wrong things.

I’ll see you all on the other side...

Spot on.

Take a moment to reflect here Blues. We can be crowned Champions of England tomorrow - something that most of us could only dream of when we started supporting City. Not only that but we can do it by beating our fiercest rivals. I’ll be delighted if we win the title regardless. However, to do it against THEM would make it all the more sweeter.

Buzzing for tomorrow! On and off the park let’s make it a night to remember for the rest of our lives. Make it noisy, make it raucous! Let’s do this, Blues!
