A substantial period of Glory turns some fans into Mard Arses and Cry Babies when it stops
Forget looking for answers or explanations, because I can tell you right now finishing 2nd best will never be good enough,

Go and ask Jose about finishing 2nd to City ? He thinks they had a great season, But the fans thought differently
I never ever thought coming up short was a problem, finish 4th bottom or 8th was a good season in my book

Dig the new bread, Sorry fuck that, I want to get off the ride now ?
it only took 40 odd years from the back of the queue to get to the front (But it was worth the wait)

So please people wanting to get on the ride, just remember how long the queue was in the first place

So true. If it wasn’t for Gorbachev the only bigger queue would have been for bread in Moscow.

Young people of t’day know nowt. In my day we had to dig potatoes for breakfast and eat them raw, and had to catch rats so Mum and Dad could cook them for supper. We slept on lino in t’corridor and then had to walk barefoot to school ten miles away through six foot snowdrifts, but we were happy.

We’ve been through way worse, days under Mark Hughes! We’ll be back Pep will find an answer and everything will be okay! Most important thing is getting behind the boys on Sunday.

I don't think anyone has fucked up. We could have beaten Spurs before they'd even scored, we should have sent Feyenoord packing and in normal circumstances Brighton 'n Bournemouth were a six point gimme. I think the HOLE that Rodri has left has not only become apparent but when the players walk onto the pitch the fact that Rodri isn't in the line has got into their heads and stays there for 90 mins and good, solid, seasoned internationals have shrunk into semi-unrecognisable players.
Some maybe, but some have simply aged...

Well said OP. We’ll be back. Just think, the dippers won one title in 30 years and we all know how psychotic they can be so us going a few games without a win is a piece of cake to deal with.
