I agree with that one, was getting ribbed about it TWO weeks ago. Trust me to marry into a Spuds family and live within spitting distance of WHL. Rarely where a City shirt !!!

That own goal against Liverpool 1977-we finished 2nd 1 point behind them. The own goal made it 1-1. 2 points for a win in those days but even so a 1--0 nil win would have taken a point off them, give us 1 and the championship.Even now I think the butterfly effect would have shaped us into a more successfull team.Being in european cup 78 we would have had some class players wanting to come here.On the plus side however,we would not have been in real terms a cheep club to buy today [maybe]and thus not atracting the richest man in the world..

Stop Gavrillo Princep assassinating Archduke Franz Ferdinand. That act led to the First World War, which led to the Second World War which led to the Cold War. The some could argue that the victory America gained in the Second World War and the dominance it's accumlated the past century as a result of the wars has led to the current conflict with certain Islamic believers.

...and we might have still had the Empire if the aforementioned conflicts never happened! ;o)

If i went back in history and changed one thing, i'm a firm believer that i would cease to exist, so it'll have to be something after i was born. Possibly the day i decided taking a crate of Tennents to a party was a good idea - worst alcoholic beverage ever.

gelson getting overexcited last week, we would have won that game and the last 3 days of nonsense would not have happened.

sorry but my memory doesnt really extend much further than that.... and all this stuff about the serbians and archduke ferdinand.... europe was primed to explode, some other fuckers would have arrived at the conclusion that as new war machines were plentiful and they didnt give a fuck about the fates of vast numbers human beings, they might as well start sending them out to die by the million.

Using my grandads falcon hair laquer as a teen to try to get a morrissey quiff as it probably accounts for my lack of hair, it would strip paint that stuff

To have demobbed Hitler from the army after the first world war.

He was in a unit that was sent to Munich to police anti-communist cells, and he had to visit political meetings and report his findings. He found it so interesting, he joined in the debates!

The rest, as they say, is history.
