If you could relive one day in your City memory ...

weird one - i would have liked to have watched the aguero goal sober in the manchester pub or mary d's.

i was shit faced in the ground and didn't realise the time, to have seen the clock ticking with myself being 100% aware would have been different.

either that or just been in the ground sober.

May 13th is still pretty fresh in the memory for me; I was lucky enough to be there and I can still remember the emotions of the day. One day I wouldn't mind reliving is boxing day 1977, when the king made his comeback at half time against Newcastle. I was sat in the North Stand that afternoon and the sheer emotion of that day had to be seen to be believed.

I'd like to go back to May 13th but be able to comprehend it all. I was in the second row so could have joined the pitch invasion but after the initial period of screaming and thrashing around in joy, a shock set in and I was just stood on the spot, tears in my eyes, as hundreds poured past me on to the pitch. I'd like to go back, re-live it again while being fully able to appreciate what was happening as it happened and joining in the pitch invasion. Isn't it great though how the best moment in club history has just happened in an era we're living in. What could possibly surpass it? Beating the scum in the 93rd minute of a Champions League final to win the treble probably wouldn't even live up to it.

to be sat behind the net at newcastle when ya ya scored his first took some beating.

sergio beat him in a photo finish

13 May 2012. A football game will NEVER play with my emotions like that again. I was contemplating my life for the next month and whether to quit my job I'd given it out at work that much the days before to every rag. I didn't even know whether i could bare to watch football again if we didn't win. Then, well god answered my prayers. Thank you.

It has to be the 13-5-12, only because it was total blur straight after Kun buried it! With all my other experiences I have had time either during or after to savour them, but not so on the glorious 13th.

The truth is I feel I missed it, it was like an out of body experience, I was there but it feels like I wasn't!

Just spent another hour reliving it on YouTube, watching footage from various bars and clubs around the world, listening to different commentaries, watching the Sky footage back, watching the footage from outside the stadium as the last two went in, all to try and get back there at the moment. It is an intense feeling, and I love it!

I do this all the time, just to remind myself that it really happened and bring back that feeling of giddiness.

Having said that, the perfect day for me was QPR away in the cup in about 94? Taking over the local pub beforehand. Goals from White and Vonk sent a huge away following into raptures - singing the Bell song over and again (the days before we started that silly "that the worrrrrrrllllllllldddddddd" crap that has ruined that song) and a mad journey home that is another story for another time.

The only way I'd go back to 13/5/2012 is if I could know the outcome as I was watching it because that was excruciating from the time of Cisse's goal until Sergio worked his magic.

Wow what a question.
The candidates for me are the 1-6 the semi and the 3-2 aguero.has to be the 3-2. Just.
I was thinking of games I missed and what I would change to be there. The ballet on ice the bus didn't turn up, I should have walked it :( we were one hell of a side then too.

I am an old timer so for me it would be when I saw city for the first time,it was a cup winners cut tie with linfield here in Belfast, second leg,we had won the first 1-0 and this was my first time seeing that great team in the flesh,I will never forget the excitement that ran through my 12 year old being as the team took the field,of course we lost ! But went through on the away goals.Having said that the qpr game was fucking fantastic but seeing your heros for the first time in the flesh takes some beating.

It's very difficult to pick just one game

5-1, away wins at the swamp, King Colins comeback, games where we were so bad we were almost brilliant like 0-6 at Derby, Wembely trips, QPR, certain games with friends/family now passed, games missed like 6-1 and Gillingham .....

As I was out of the counrty for Gillingham and couldn't find out the result until midnight I'm going to take that one but only if I don't book a fucking holiday to Tunisia the Monday after York away.

As nice as it was,the 1-6 was just a small part of a fantastic season..

The QPR game will go down forever in sporting history as one of the most remarkable and pivotal games ever..

As Tyler said " you will never see anything like this ever again "

He is right, you wont..

The 10-1.

I'd change it slightly so that I said to Sonya who had the tickets that I was definitely coming, and not in fact go to Stolen From Ivor in Altrincham.

Could not believe it when I saw the results coming through... what an idiot!!!

It would have to be the last game of 2001/02 season against Pompey when we won 3-1 and Pearce missed a penalty in the last minute to score his 100th career goal.

That was the day I knew I was a blue. I'd kind of fallen out of love with football, but the atmosphere was electric. I always remember whenever Pearce touched the ball the whole ground (even Pompey fans I think) shouting 'SHOOT',

1-6 was amazing that was a dream come true..... oh how many years i fantasized about that score as it had to be better than 5-1 (scores we both have inflicted on each other)

3-2 is still blurry as i don t know what the hell i was doing.... only have flashbacks as it was so mental. every second was a roller-coaster of feelings/thoughts/roaring so much so i can t put a finger on it.

3-2 felt like god was on our side..... made me love football with fresh feelings. i think football won that day and all the neutrals were with us. just wish ,as one BM poster said, every football fan could experience what we did that day just once in their lifetime! i believe most deserve it too!

if that was so, every year would be fantastic viewing!
