Cheers.. Used to love the place, in the days of no mobiles if ya lost everyone and no matter how pissed you were, you knew to head there.. It was definately city's second home!

Castle and Falcon off shudehill was a decent boozer, Electric Circus was delapidated but great times had in there.

Is the Sportsmans still open?,if it is I'd have to say the Cyprus.
It was posh birds central and me my mates filled our boots in there after the game.
I suppose we were what you'd call "local colour" with our authentic accents and our intriguing mannerisms,either that or just a piece of rough.
The Sportsmans clientele was the main drawcard, mainly down and outs and alcy's but it was entertaining watching the fights where no one connected and the unintelligable shouting matches.
