If it came down to just 1 player. Nothing else, I know this is unpopular, but it would have to be Ronaldo. He is the only player in the upper echeleon of players who has shown a capacity to handle the Prem, and is still currently at the top of his game.
Everyone else, don't satisfy one or the other. But like I said, it will be unpopular :)

Aguero as Tevez replacement.
Seems like Tevez can't work with any of our strikers to-date (Dzeko, Ade et al).

Probably either Sneijder or Schweinsteiger (Sneijder might just edge it), would replace Barry with either of those two in the midfield. Hard to choose between the two, they offer different qualities.
We don't need to improve in many places, I'd give Kolarov another full season in England and without injuries to prove himself, maybe another centre back, although I'm very happy with Kompany and Lescott.
Maybe though, the best thing to do would maybe to go with someone young, and English, in which case Rodwell (just edges out Henderson). I hope we get Chamberlain as well though.
