Thinking about the OP's question, I first began to wonder how many City players you would place in a PL XI, base on current form? I make it a few, but I could be accused of wearing blue-tinted glasses.

Went for Barry as haven't seen enough of Fernandinho (taking him time to settle in as it did with Yaya & Silva for a bit).

Clichy isn't good enough going forward but I'm not sure about Baines and I'm not going to put A.Cole in there.

Aguero and Negredo are both a joy to watch.

Dejan Lovren for Garcia. We are desperate for a CH and this guy has looked very good for Southampton. They've got the best defense in the PL. Only given up 3 goals on the season.

Only two:
Luke Shaw for Kolarov (maybe Cliche on his current form). Luke is going to be one hell of a player.
Eriksen from Spurs or Ozil from Arsenal to replace Nasri. Good player though Nasri is his defending and pressing just isn't goo enough.

In my book Baines is overrated. So is Mata who bores me to death. Has to have ball at his feet to be effective. Both Silva and Nasri are better, in my opinion. Jovetic is too, though he doesn't get many opportunities to play.
