If you could watch a film for the first time again…

The Empire Strikes Back. Mainly for THAT reveal.

I did go to the cinema in 1980 to watch it but I was only 4 and a half years old so I have no recollection of it.

And by time it came out on VHS (and Betamax!) In 1984 Return Of The Jedi had already been out for over a year and I definitely remember watching that at the cinema (The old ABC on Oxford Road) so I knew the reveal

Closest I've come to experience that was my lad about 3 years ago when he was getting into Star Wars.

I made sure we watched the originals first and made sure he wasn't aware of the reveal. The look on his face when he found out was brilliant. A combination of shock,confusion and disbelief. Something I'll cherish for the rest of my life

Yep as a ten year old those apes look so real and when it was made think 1968 it was remarkable!
