If you had to move to London and you had to follow a team , who would it be?

I do live in London, and I’d support Crystal Palace or Brentford - proper footballing teams with good fan bases. Just so happen to be doing pretty well right now which is a bonus but I’d pick them anyway

I go to watch Carshalton athletic but could never say I'm a big fan. I also have never bought anything in shop as too much red for my liking. Have spent quite a lot in their little social club though

It's not the same club any more. That was nearly 30 years ago now. The people running it have made a lot of effort to turn it into a family friendly place over many years.

You still get a small coterie of bell ends but that's the same at any club.
I think they might revert to type if they are promoted.

I live down here and I work with a lad who supports Brentford and he’s got a soft spot for City. However I live out east so it’d probably have to be Leyton Orient

Fuck yes. That's a hike. Did you use to drive, or take the train? Either way, it involves getting round/across that great big spider that is greater London.

I joined the London supporters club as we got cheaper travel by traveling as a group. I think we caught the 9;30 train there and the 17.30 train back which was stressful to catch. I set off about 6.30-7.00 to get to London in time and got back in Kent around midnight.

I spent a good chunk of my youth watching QPR during the plastic pitch years. For reasons too long to go into here Pa Bollo was friends with a couple of the super-hoops and spuds players so we were regularly comped tickets to Loftus Road and WHL. I still quite like to see QPR do well but you can stick Spurs up your arse. Mrs B is an east Lahrndan gewl and the English side of her fam are mostly Orient, so probably the other team I’d pick if forced. Always liked going to the Iron’s old Boleyn ground as well but not sure I could stomach the London Stadium.

I guess it would depend on what part of London you moved to. I wouldn’t move to Muswell Hill and support Charlton.
I guess Bromley if I lived in that neck of the woods simply to say I was part of the Bromley Contingent……
Norman Stanley Fletcher was from Muswell Hill, which is the only thing I know about it.

Fulham. Lived not far away for a good few years. Used to watch the rugby league team there in the early '80s when they got bigger crowds than Fulham F.C.
Also saw Rodney Marsh and Georgie Best when they teamed up, and Sam Allardyce might have been playing too.

Was Bobby Moore there at the same time?
