If You Wanna Protest Tomorrow, Do It After The Game.

I can e-mail an attachment to print out the protest card if anyone wants one?

Still waiting for Cook to answer you're phantom e-mail? BTW still waiting to here what address you sent it too.

Move on moron!

Have since found out that there ARE plans for some banners in the North Stand.

I signed on line petetion to vent my anger at the way the club have handled the relocation. (As in ask them to explain why the short notice etc)

Just received e mail outlining plans for banners to be aired before the match.

I won't be partaking and to be honest don't think they'll have any affect never mind being noticed.

how fucking sad

" i have sat in this seat since we moved to coms"
"they will have to carry me out still attached to it"
get a fucking grip

any one who is thinking about protesting because they have to move from the north stand is a WANKER of the highest order

even if there was nothing on the next 2 games i think you are SAD and must lead very SAD lives to feel that aggrieved that you need to protest because you wont be able to sit in your little blue seat that you have sat in for the past few years

go and join the green and yellow mob over the road as they have somthing to really protest about and you might just feel at home there

and all them little blue seats are the same in the ground they are all made of plastic and are cold on your arse in winter, they still have toilets bars and programme sellers in the other stands so you wont miss out on anything

my advise to any one who unfortunately finds them self sat next to any one who thinks its good to protest give the fucker a slap take there banner and ram it up there fucking arse

NOW FUCK OFF

I wouldn't mind, but the North Stand is toilet. I'm glad to be getting out.<br /><br />-- Fri Apr 30, 2010 9:10 pm --<br /><br />

answered on the original thread pal ( ie gc@mcfc.co.uk)

I signed the online petition opposing the forced relocation of Northstanders (and am still witing for a reply from Cook btw)

the guy who organised the petition e-mailed all the people who signed the petition (now 300+) today with an attachment to print off A3 sheets and hold them up pre-match tomorrow as a protest

he is also going to be handing out cards before the game for people in the North Stand to hold up

whilst I disagree strongly with what MCFC have done I am NOT going to protest at the game or hold up any cards

I have in fact e-mailed Cook ( despite what you think) , made my feelings clear on here and signed the online petition - that is enough for me - my ulimate protest is to not renew my 2 seasoncards

FC City of Manchester. hahaa

Seriously anyone thinking of protesting can piss off.
If i was getting forced out of the familiy stand i would thank my lucky stars. Its shit. People moaning about the third tier view, the third tier has the best view in the stadium so behave and stick your silly protest up your arse

I understand what you're saying and I'm in agreement that the protest, if indeed there is one, is just stupid.
However I would like to point out that the second tier is being turned into corporate because that has the best view.

heres the 1 i got

I had hoped not to do anything in the ground tomorrow but the more I think about it unless we get some publicity we are not going to stand a chance. Therefore I think we should stage a banner protest tomorrow and Wednesday. This does not mean not supporting the team but simply raising banners at the start of the game which should not be offensive and contain a simple message. I have produced one and printed it out on A3 paper but if you don't have an A3 printer I am sure an A4 one will be just as effective. Its black and white for cost reasons but if you want to make it blue and white feel free. Just make it dark as light blue won't show up. If not you can always use an old sheet etc. I will bring a few A3 versions to the game but cost will stop me printing too many. If you have the means to bring some extra please feel free to do so. Also I would urge those of you that have not yet e-mailed Garry Cook and Danny Wilson to do so as well as any media contacts you have. Cheers D*ve

O.K, the O.P comes on here, makes some comment about a demo at the ground that nobody knows anything about, and then fucks off saying no more. I've not been on here long enough to know all the posters but, surely this ones a rag. No?

who the fuck are you?

I made the post, how much detail did you want? theres a protest organised by a small number, how much more detail do i need to give? did you want me to sit here and monitor the thread for 4 hours and reply to everyone and give some updates rather than going to the pub for a few hours?

before you call me a rag, think for 10 seconds before you make an absolute BOLLOCKS post like you just have you cretin.

Freestyler, you've done us a favour, I found out a few mins before and was about to post.
Barcon, this could be seriously detrimental if it pisses players off.
Complain by all means but not at the stadium.

It's a joke to be honest, there's always something for City fans to moan about. Even when the football is good. It's only a seat, you're not being asked to go to another stadium for fuck's sake. Change can be good.

Not sure the players would be arsed about a few sheets of paper being held up with "Cook out"on them, some might agree, stop making a big deal out of what will be a non event.

19% of fans unhappy surely tells you something.... Ffs why protest, surely if your a fan does it matter where you sit? Ok the price increase isnt great but what did you expect? For the club to reduce tickets just for the shits and giggles? My ticket has gone up £50, yeh it's pissed me off but I love the club and think Cook is doing a great job, so I will pay the extra £50 and just get on supporting my club. Anyone protesting with banners etc will make us a laughing stock and just give everyone else ammo. Plus what are you expecting to happen? The club do a U-turn? Lol, it aint going to happen. They will just fill the seat of anyone who doesnt renew unfotunalty. Other than the inconvienience and additional cost I think the plans will benfit us as a club in the long run.
