If YOU were a Billionaire looking to buy a club NOW..who?

Everton or Sheff Weds. Agree with previous poster. Everton are prime for a billionaire owner to make them a top 4 team.

are they fuck.

I really like them as a club, despite the appalling attitude of some of their fans over the last year and a bit, but they are the club, and the team, least suited to further elevation that I can think of.

Second team in a city with hugely successful neighbours WOAHHHH NELLY START AGAIN

seriously, I do like them but there are huge issues in terms of the fan base and the ground before you can think about elevating them.

you'd be better off going for Villa, Newcastle, Cardiff, Bristol or another London team. by miles.

Personally I'd go for PSG. Lyon are dominating, but Paris is a huge metropolis with an incredible mix of the wealthy and the earthy. They used to have fantastic players but it's gone horribly downhill in recent years. With huge investment, and a proper makeover, I could see them becoming the Bayern of France, transcending a half-decent league to become a European super-power.

First on the agenda would be hiring someone to create another song at Goodison.

Cardiff City, get rid of debt. Build to 35k in stadium or try move to Millenium eventually.

Catchment area of 2 million without another big club and could have the nation behind them (could become size of old firm club).

Everton.

Good players, they just need abit of cash... and a new manager :)

I was hoping I would not be the first to suggest Everton BUT I would keep the current manager. Without money they are going to be challenging top 4 this season.

For all the shit that they`ve had thrown around them over the past 3 seasons I would love to see Pompey taken over, but this time ensure that everyone has gone through the proper "means tests"
Everybody blames one another but for me the PL and FA have really fucked up on this.
Shame, because they do have some very loyal support.
