Adebayor goes and Aguero comes in, will Dzeko want the number 9 shirt that Adebayor has so Aguero goes number 10?? Cant really see Aguero in anything else apart from 10.

Hasn't Aguero also previously worn the number 24 shirt? Just thinking about him and Yaya battling over that now, but could see Yaya possibly sticking to 42 with all the success he brought wearing that last year?!

I was saying this in the Aguero thread. Dzeko said in his first interview on the OS that he wanted the 9 but couldn't because of Ade. Im certain he'll take it before the prem league require our squad number list.

City should market the whole "kun aguero" 10 as a brand like Madrid with R9 and CR7. This has made them shedloads of cash in shirt sales.

Yaya will keep 42 as it has a spiritual meaning to him. There was an article where he chose 42 as it has something to do with eternity etc so he'll keep it imo

I thought Yaya chose 42, becuase he has aleays had number 24 after his idol Vieria, but becuase Vieria was at the club, he chose 42 instead?
