Don't know about Manchester but Blackpool's Xmas market by the sea 'opened' yesterday.

Their first proper one 2 years ago was well priced and busy, last year they saw £££ signs and was a disaster.

Going to have a look on Tuesday once I'm back in the UK....and then run to The Mitre for a decent pint or three.

Re music: just listen to your own, stations will probably have started chucking a Xmas song in-between a couple of normal ones by now.

I do like Xmas, our local rotary club do a Santa sleigh charity collection but apart from Mrs Moon buying a few presents within our families agreed budget nothing and I mean nothing happens until mid December in blue B4 the moon towers.
