That song has special meaning for Mrs Vienna and me.

The first Christmas we were together (2006), her children were insisting that she spend the festivities with them.

I finished at Bentley for the holiday on the Friday 22nd. Our plan was to go to the City game on the Saturday, then I’d drop Lesley at the train station on the Sunday morning and drive back to Cornwall.

When the game finished, the first song played by the PA system was Driving Home For Christmas. We looked at each other as if to say, "How ironic!"

Before we got back to the car, Lesley's daughter rang and said, it was OK, her Mum could go to my parents' with me.

Driving Home For Christmas became our Christmas song.

Roll on Boxing day it will be all over,plus it will be a full day of footy.
