I take it your opinion comes from what you have seen at the under 21's? The kid is 18 years old, playing against some that have 4 years on him, yet he is still holding his own. He hasn't even peaked yet, so to write him off the way you have is unbelievable.

Just me thats never heard of him then. Mind you the same could have been said about Sanchez a few weeks ago so I guess it shows how little I follow foreign footie :-/

I've seen him play for Bilbao more often than the U21 side, but he's been exactly the same player in all games I've seen. What I've commented on is his playing style, his intelligence, that doesn't change from game to game, they are what I consider fundamental flaws in his game and I am pretty sure he'll never make it at the very top level. Maybe he can progress to a better club Valencia, he may do well there for a few years, but I think ultimately he'll be the new Joaquin or Navas, not Messi.

Btw forget about age, that is totally irrelevant, Messi was destroying teams aged 18, destroying some of the world's best defenders who have more than 4 years on him, if you have talent it isn't dependent on age and is a lot more noticeable than Muniain's.
