I’m not convinced with him at all. I’d have Grealish over him any day.

He’s a great mid table player and if we sign him, to me that shows a decline in the quality of our signings.

He’s miles better than the current iteration of Grealish, still agree I think we should aim higher, but I don’t think he’d look out of place here.

Better than Marmoush BUT we used to sign Sterlings Sanes and Mahrezs. Anyone trying to convince themselves we aren’t buying levels below where we were is deluded. Is this lad starting for Arsenal Madrid Bayern or PSG? Nope so let’s not waste our time. Let’s buy players who could play at that level.

I like him alot. Dangerous in both games against us, and could have scored 3 against us in the 3-3. Always looking to drop into the space behind the striker. Takes 3 defenders with him when he's running at players. He'd be a useful signing for us.

Much prefer N'Diaye to Gibbs White, regardless of the numbers. Better footballer.

Love this kid, probably my favourite player to watch in the Premier League outside of city and definitely one of the 4 or 5 best players outside of the big 6.

Would be very happy to see him come here.

But this is again how stats give no context, Doku played in 47 games, where as Ndiaye played in 34

I dont even think the guy is anywhere near our standard, but we cant seriously be saying that he wouldn't score or assist at least another 10 in our side, with the quality of players around him, and with the additional games?

Just dont think Evertons the team to judge a player on their G/A

I agree with this, particularly about the G/A aspect - which is why I think chances created is more interesting when in teams like Everton. He created 30 last year and Doku had 60 in 1000 fewer minutes, which would concern me. Decent player though

Just to be clear, I wouldn't swap him for Doku, but you have to take into account the team around a player when looking at any stats

He seems to be a real marmite player judging by reactions on here. I agree though that you can only really judge a player by seeing him play with those around him. I just like his relentless attitude. I think we need that to replace Bernie. Also why I think Anderson is a must.

Is anyone suggesting a swap? Agree on context, which is why I think chances created is better than judging him on Barry or Beto. I like him but not overly sold on him for £70m. But who knows, could go up a level and he has great versatility.

As a sidebar, Doku is an absolute menace - created 60 chances while being double-teamed and not taking set pieces. Doesn't get enough assists but not for want of trying!

Assuming Ndiaye takes Savio's position in squad, IE cover for Doku and Semenyo, then it's probably an upgrade, but we should walk away if Everton ask for something in the 50/60 range. My best mate is an everton fan and he says there's no way everton let him go for less than 60, so that has me a bit apprehensive, seeing as this is a cover signing.

Yes but we already have x2 1st team wingers cemented in the team now. Certainly didnt then!

We need strong squad players who tick the required boxes. And this lad definately does more than Scott Sincalir ffs!

I like him, but he's Everton's best player so they would demand a lot of money for him. Not sure we'd be willing to pay what it takes when we have bigger priorities for the squad.

Surely there’s a deal to be had if Everton are really serious about Grealish…….not that I’d be averse to him staying.
