I don't understand why people think he's going to be our holding midfielder. Everyone predicted that last year, and he ended up being one of the 8s, pretty much exclusively.

Our mid is so strong, LOL. Some hugely talented player or player(s) aren't going to get nearly enough game time.
This said - if Gundogan can truly slot in as a pivot, then he may see game time for sure - his passing is better than Fernandinho's and his stamina is better than Toure's.
