Would like to see him play further forward, but who do we play further back next to Dinho? Could Silva or KDB rotate with him? Don't know.

Hope so. All that possession control is only worth it if you can find those runs. The more he and DeBryune play together the better they'll be at picking each other out on early runs.

Right n

It depends on where De Bruyne plays. No guarantee he will always played outwide as he was on sATURDA. . But he and De Bruyne can certainly interchange and pick each others' runs as De Bruyne is also great at making runs into the box. Gundogan himself claims that he is not really a goal scoring midfielder but I believe he can score a lot of goals in this team with the players around him.

His quality is really starting to show through, and he is going to be vital to the team as the season progresses. He seemed to thrive on playing further forward against West Brom, and he showed against Barca, where he almost scored, that he can start knocking them in even against the best.

I am sure Pep will work out how to play all these fantastic attacking players and maximise their impact, and I think Ilkay is going to be a super threat against Barca.

When you look at him and compare him with the £98 million turkey at the swamp you realise how much of a steal he was. A Rolls Royce of a player and someone that fit into any side in the prem.

comfortable on the left and right foot, I genuinely don't know which is his stronger side. I think right but nearly all his goals have been left footers if I'm not mistaken. He is better than Nasri for getting the ball under pressure and keeping it.

Really, really clever player

He's definitely right footed and I think he showcased it already at City with his quick dribbling skills; see his change against Barca etc. But yes, we badly lacked a CM like this, who is such comfortable with both of his feet. You can see how Arsenal's game improves drastically with Cazorla in the midfield as he literally takes corners/FKs with both of his feet.

It will be a very important asset to us if we want some quick attacking transition or just faster ball movement, and something that obviously can be learned and improved only by lots of training, so I've never really quite understand why other players don't do this, especially midfielders.

Cazorla has the best technique I've ever seen for striking a ball. He doesn't have a weak side. I think Cazorla is more naturally two sided than anyone, I don't think he learned or trained for that. He is just naturally two footed.

All top class professional footballers can use both feet. It's just when pressure comes on you revert to instinct. Habit. It needs to be drilled in from an early age to make it instinctive to open up to the side where the space is, being aware of the space in the first place.
