I'll dump this thread for the third time in a quick succession but fuck's sake, this is not even about us, City. Just check his pass to KdB or the dribble he made to make space for the left winger there... He was a fucking joy to watch for most of the time he's been here. I'm absolutely devastated and not because we'll have a hard time now to compete for the title, but...mainly because of him.
We'll miss him no doubt, but we know the trio of Fernandinho/Silva/De Bruyne can work as shown at the start of the season - barring no more injuries/suspensions & with Yaya/Fernando as cover we should be able to cope, even if it does weaken us.
Bad news for the Arsenal game with no Fernandinho, Gundogan or Aguero though; was going to be tough enough anyway.
