It was a scissor challenge from behind so he could have gone by the laws of the game but perhaps it's true refs rarely give a red for that.Give over, give me one example of that being a red card.
Maybe they should start doing that though especially when a player is shite at tackling in general and has clumsily injured a lot of players with similar challenges in the recent past, only then would we see a decline in the amount of players injured by one particular player.
In the interests of fairness in the sport, it shouldn't be the talented player who didn't make any reckless mistakes second guessing one on one situations in the near future, it should be the oaf who's making a hash of tackles and injuring people or it's just bad for the sport itself and the image of the PL if the priorities are so backwards. There needs to be a deterrent and a yellow card doesn't cut it.
