It was like night and day when Fernandinho came on yesterday. However many words people post on this topic, the players speak loudest without using words. They all look to Fernandinho in a way they do with no other player. Stats don't even come near to explaining this. If you can't see it, you don't know football. As far as the players are concerned, it's clear to see. He's pretty much the man.

Although he didn’t particularly stand out, some of his passing was actually very tasty.

He has a tendency to be quietly effective rather than grabbing games by the scruff of the neck like Dave, Yaya and KDB have variously done. That’s why he falls short in some people’s opinions. IMO of course.
