Yes definitely. Imagine Zaba up against Vini Jr or Mbappe. Not saying Zaba wasn't a good player by the way, loved the man. All about opinions.Better than Zabaleta? No way! but a very very good player nonetheless.

The players chose him, so they see something in him. FWIW I'd personally have gone for Ruben, in Gundo's absence.He's a good captain, Yes he has a lot of personal stuff that isn't great for his image but on the pitch he is a great leader.

It makes me smile when I hear City fans getting all indignant about players messing about and being idiots. Shock horror, most footballers mess about behind their partners backs, always have , always will. The difference is Walker got caught. Agreed, Ruben is the obvious long term choice but its the problem of leaving it to the players?

Why the hate for Kyle Walker, I don't get it. He's been brilliant for this club, the best right back we've ever had.
Easily the best RB we've ever had, and I say that as a huge Zabaleta fan.
But off field, his decision making is legendarily terrible.
