The way I see it is if gundo wanted to stay at city as his first choice the contract would be finalised by now. It’s pretty obvious to me he is waiting to see if Barcelona can register him. Where it gets a bit messy is that if Barca can’t and we have moved on than arsenal becomes a real option for him. Obviously gundo going to arsenal would be shite.

Personally I hope he goes to Barca and we get a replacement in. Best scenario for all imo

But if he can’t go to Barca, why would he then go to Arsenal instead of accepting the contract extension offer on the table at City. For what reason?
