Getting the cones out takes on a different meaning for Gundogan.
That’s the same as giving him a free transfer anyway. Sounds to me like we are paying him to go, lol.Could he agree to a "mutual termination?" Let me out of my contract, free and clear. You owe me nothing, I owe you nothing and I go to Turkey, get my contract, bonuses, and playing time and everyone is happy
If someone comes in for him. Hasn't been any rumours so farWhich he will
I think it’s done, but we won’t sanction until we’ve boxed off the whole situation with Eddie and Donna. If someone comes in for him. Hasn't been any rumours so far
Indeed, the romanticism of the return rarely lives up to expectations, he played 40+ last year by default, he was always returning as an impact player and would of been more useful if it played out that way, alas, pay the man up and let him enjoy the twilight end…Can’t believe for one minute that Gundo wants to finish his career sat on a bench or in the stands, he doesn’t strike me as that type of guy.
Doesn't sit well with me him digging his heels in and City needing to pay him off to leave. I know we gave him a 2 year contract, which was a mistake, but 12 months ago we rescued him after he asked us to get him out of Barca.
Another likely scenario is that everything is done for his move back to Germany or Turkey and Pep wants him here to the last day, just in case of injuries or not having everyone he wants, and Gundy is on board, given his love for the club and City. There again, I may know f^eck all, just like everyone else's assumptions! There has been absolutely nothing to suggest that is what is happening though. If anything, for all we know, we could be the ones holding him to his contract while looking to shift others on, when he may have found himself a move he wants.
How do you know he’s digging his heels in?Doesn't sit well with me him digging his heels in and City needing to pay him off to leave. I know we gave him a 2 year contract, which was a mistake, but 12 months ago we rescued him after he asked us to get him out of Barca.
Exactly. If he's happy where he is and with his role this season, then he stays put. You can't just throw players out like an old loaf of bread.Doesn't sit well with me him digging his heels in and City needing to pay him off to leave. I know we gave him a 2 year contract, which was a mistake, but 12 months ago we rescued him after he asked us to get him out of Barca.
good point - we'll see soon enoughHasn’t gundo said he grew up a Gala fan? Can’t see him accepting to go there
