I'm actually quite scared of Stoke City

They want us to be scared, now is our time!!

correct ! they are hoping we are scared because thats all they have ! most of our squad have played on the big stages and in international matches ...........its only the club that hasnt for years

We were horsepiss against Stoke, and that's putting it kindly. They're not a good footballing side at all, and we should have capitalised on that. We were as bad yesterday and this does NOT bode well for the future. I think we'll really struggle next year.

That aside, everything went for Stoke on April 17th - every shot, which Jussi would have normally saved, went in - and we made them look much, much better than they are.

I think you'll beat them - IF you get the ball on the ground. Play long ball and they'll muscle you out of it - De Jong/Kompany excluded.

It resulted in a goal by Kenwyne Jones.

still our Achilles heel Kompany can't deal with a big physical centre forward as much as I love the guy

look at the games against Carroll Crouch etc

Who is this Carroll Crouch you speak of ?

Sounds a bit Czech to me.

;-p

I would be a lot calmer if over the next couple of weeks Rory Delap traps his fingers in the door of his presumably very expensive motor car.

She's Quasimodos sister.

Blue purgatory,

The last two big games against Stoke you drew in the league and lost in the cup.

To the others worrying about our long throws I suggest you do a bit more research. We scored against villa off one, but we've scored far more in open play in recent games.

If Matty and Pennant are fit we'll give you a real good game. That said we all know as Stokies that player for player you're a better team, I can't think of many of our players you'd swap. If you are mentally strong and turn up there will only be one winner.
