I'm coming home, if you'll have me?

You'll be a loss on X, Tolmie.
One of my go-to accounts when I haven't been on in a while and I want to catch up with some City news.

Easier to find your comments than on here!

The Cheshire Flat Caps are mainly dead now so he wpuld be ranting at the half and halfers.

I still maintain he was a comedy genius.

DIDSBURY DAVE absolutely brilliant wasn't he. I was reading through some of his old posts at work the other week and there was one where he threatened to go on the pitch to have words with Stephen Ireland and I had to leave the room

Twitter, X, whatever you call it. I've done it for over a year and I've had it confirmed, it's a cess pit of racist, wannabe gangsta, football fanboys.

It's fun for giving it back to rival fans and trying to fight City's corner, but you spend more time blocking fuds who started watching City in the last five years.

It's hard to argue with stupid and I miss my 'friends' on here, or at least those ones who don't mind a debate, even when there is a disagreement.

I'm coming home if Ric and you guys will take me back on reduced terms, minus the private health care, presumably?

Top poster, always welcome.

Great, I always enjoy a Tolmie transfer rumour, they seem a lot more believable than the bollocks on social media.

I guess it also confirms I was right never to bother having a twitter account. Sounds like it’s mostly just an echo chamber for arseholes.

X is a pub without the social and moral rules and regulations that stop it from being a shit fest once everyone has had a few pints.

It is a raw unfiltered platform.
The trick is to be a speaker, not a listener and to be robust when using it. (much like life eh?).

If you want your debates soft and safe (ie pathetic) then there are other places one can go. You could always pick your echo chamber as well. there are plenty to choose from which will lean to whichever side you want.

I think X it better for it.

You have a similar low mod approach here on BM, but probably, as you are well known here and fit the scene, you personally won't be subject to as much discord and literal violence as other users. Forums are just dynamic cliques after all.

Perhaps learn the lesson Stefan did in the last few days. If you can't stand tough and abrasive responses, Ignore them.
Don't get drawn in to a bun fight. Just ignore and move on.
Is it a bun or a barm that's involved in the fight?
