Sure; it's tough at the moment, but I agree with those that are saying it's still okay. You only have to think of those Pompeii fans to know that.
Last year 4th place was won with 72 points. Year before that 4th had 76 points. I reckon 70 points will do it this year meaning that we can only afford to lose 9 points in the remaining 11 matches. Being realistic, three points could go this weekend at Stamford Bridge, no matter how well we play. That means we have to win eight of the other ten or thereabouts, which is not impossible if Mancini can motivate the players.
Chelsea this Saturday?
I reckon we'll have to score three times to win, something we haven't done against a PL club since the beginning of January.
Tevez will be up for it and new boy Johnson will be buzzing. If Stephen Ireland can stop thinking about his girl friend's Bentley for long enough, it may be possible. Come on City. Fight for it and no more stupid quick free kicks.(see 41st min versus Liverpool) If its in their half, put the ball in the box and attack it.
