At Wembley I glanced at the programme and Utd's squad list was significantly longer than ours.
When Arsenal and Utd play 1 game at the weekend they can change half their players for the next game, and still win. At City, we drop 1 or 2 players and we lose.
Have a look at Arsenal's strength in depth in midfield. You could name 11 top midfielders, and I haven't a clue what their best team is.
First off, no matter what I tell you, I'm definitely not a Manchester City fan in any way, shape or form. I never go the matches and never watch the matches on TV. I certainly wouldn't be able to tell you that we only have a squad of 25 senior players like Arsenal do.
City definitely haven't spent an absolute fortune bringing in top quality players to ensure a strong team can be played where absolutely necessary. You know, the likes of Milner and Zabaleta weren't able to play against West Brom in the Carling Cup and only sat on the bench to help make up the numbers. And the teams fielded against Dynamo Kiev were equally poor in order to ensure the next league matches were winnable.
What were you at Wembley for? To spend 90 minutes looking at the opposition's squad in order to be jealous of Little Pea and Smalling? City certainly never seem to play there.

However, since the Liverpool game, where we were actually short of quality types of playes in certain positions, would we have had so much stamina in the second half at Wembley ??
I personally believe that was one of the contributing factors between ourselves and United.
They had played a mid week game and some looked knackered. However we just didn`t beat United by stamina, but we wanted that win more than they did.
That 4th PL place could turn out to our advantage, with now only 7 games to worry about !!

United had only played a day after us. Besides, when Mancini was saying the squad was tired he got vilified on here and yet those very people (not necessarily you) are now saying that United were tired and Spurs are only behind us because of what they've done in Europe.
Well we've played more games than Spurs and yet have more goals, more points and conceded less goals. We're in a cup final and are clear favourites to finish fourth and yet still people are harbouring on about how good they are and how lucky we are.
Unbelievable!!

Look what happened at Anfield when we rested 2 midfielders, then compare our midfield strength in depth to Arsenal: Arshavin, Fabregas, Nasri, Rosicky, Wilshere, Ramsey, Song, Eboue, Frimpong, Diabby, Denilson.

Hopefully history wont repeat itself !!
