I'm off to watch The Dark Knight tonight

Thought the film started off very well and yes i think Heath Ledgers performance was quite brilliant. That may have been in the production to "BIG HIM UP A BIT" because he died. That said he was very good.

The criticsism... the film lost it's way a bit 3/4's way thorough and was too long for my liking. I cant imagine too many 12 year olds sticking with it.

Fucking great film. The bit with the pencil is genius. My main gripe is the fact that its been toned down to achieve a 12a rating. I know some things don't have to be shown and because of that possibly made it more sinister but I really wanted to know what he did to the guy once he jumped out of the bin liner.

I think there is a little to much awareness for the merchandising of so called block busters. Has anyone seen the replica toys? The 6 quid one of the joker is nothing like the film version.

There was a kid with his mum who muct of been about 6 years old. I really don't understand some parents taking their kids to a film like that. Obviously they know very little about movies and were probably expecting a good ol' family adventure where the good guy wins.

Batman's voice sounded daft. He had a crap fake gruff voice. Batman has always sounded really cool and calm, they made him sound a bit aggressive in this one
