De Jong is becoming more and more as effective as Makelele - and he was absolute quality.
 
Yaya and Barry, rather than Yaya and Dejong, for me.

We'll see a better Barry this time around now that he won't be under as much pressure to get up and down the pitch, as he was when his midfield partner was De Jong.

De Jong is good, and will play many games, but Barry offers more imo.
 
I think De Jong and Yaya will play in rotation with De Jong perhaps being used for the big games with Yaya.

Marvin - whilst I can see the reasoning I'm convinced Johnson will play a big part this season.
