I'm really in two minds with him. He seems to be a big game player and I think against united he showed us glimpses of what he was like in the second half of last season, but other that that he has looked lazy and unfit this season. Forgetting what he did for us last season, which make no mistake, was incredible I don't think it should take a player of his calibre and quality 6 months to get fit and to his best. He is supposed to be a real motivator in the dressing room but I watched him when we scored against villareal, one of our most important goals in recent history and he just looked uninterested and again when kolarov tried to celebrate with him after the game. Someone on here also mentioned that he was 100% certain that there is a clause on his contract that he must start every premier league game if he is fit, now I wouldn't normally believe the club would agree to this but I can't remember him sitting on the bench for any premier league game since he's joined us even though the rest of our team get rotated and rested for bigger champions league games he never seems to be rested despite being one of our more unfit players and looks at times like he needs a rest.
I think he is a quality player but I am unsure about him and wonder at times if the team would be better off without him.

OK... you're going to get a lot of stick, but i actualy agree that there are some issues with Yaya. However, of all the moments to raise them, this seems a bit strange! Just let it go for now!

Is this a wum?

You have argued against yourself. If he is not interested in some games then why would he want to start every game in the prem? Surely, he'd sit on the bench / in the stands and count his wonga?

You are dead right about one thing though - the bigger the game, the better he looks... it's what truly world class players do!

The results speak for themselves.
He is the quintessential MF.
1. His defensive and ability to hold the ball without dishing sideways unnecessarily putting pressure on his other teammates.
2. His penetrating incisive passes for our lethal strikers to score and most of all ,
3. His 'false 9' threat

So far Mancini has not being wronged. Are you or City?

Much fretting for nothing.
