I'm worried about the team we will field on Tuesday.

We have to worried apparently they have not lost at home in Europe for 40 years!
So what? We don't need to win the tie at their place. A draw, especially a scoring draw, will be brill.

--------------Hart-----------

Richards----Kolo---Boyata---Kolarov

SWP----Vieira---Milner---Silva

-----Tevez-----Dzeko--------

We just need to field a team that can do the job , we could weaken the team a little but not too much , if we win there then we have a great start , we have away goals and then they have to come to our place , where we could finish the tie off . But if they haven't lost a tie at home in europe for 40 years , it does make you think it will be a tough game but hopefully we will get back to winning ways.

A score draw or better is all that should be required

Given

Boateng
Touré
Lescott
Zabaleta

Milner
Vieira
Razak
MJ

Guidetti
Jo.

Don't think Johnson is fit enough and while I'm totally for giving our kids a chance, I wouldn't do it in the away leg except for Guidetti maybe who has the right mentality already. A notoriously hostile and intimidating environment where Aris haven't lost in Europe for 40+ years, we will need composure and experience I think. This is a rare game where I'd play Vieira.

My team:

Hart or Given

Kolarov
Toure
Boateng
Zabaleta

Vieira
Yaya
Milner
SWP

Dzeko
Guidetti

4-4-2 with plenty of crosses for Dzeko, it should work in Europe. Guidetti is also very good at holding the ball up and fiesty, I'd much rather see him than Jo but I'd expect to see Jo get a game. Tevez, Kompany, Silva on the bench just in case as this will not be an easy game or close to it.

I'm a new blue so I might be off but aren't you all underestimating yourselves?
City is a magnificent club with some quality players, aris shouldn't be a threat should it?
Think it's kinda funny when I see posts like ''I hope for a draw'' not criticizing any of you but I just think city should be able to finish them off without to much hassle

am I wrong?

Unfortunately as evidenced by our league form. Football doesn't work
like that. On paper we have probably the strongest squad in the Premiership
so it would be easy to imagine that we could beat every other team yet
we don't. It's not just about the names it's about attitude, luck, the fans,
the weather, the tactics. Too many variables to make simple assumptions.
Aris are a decent team om their own turf, look at their record and then
decide whether a draw would be a good result.
