That picture is pretty deceiving in all honesty. It was a bad challenge, yes, but that there is like a split second of the whole thing. Think Keane on Haaland, that was bad because the whole pressure point of the challenge was on Haalands knee. The energy from Adams challenge had already passed by the time he landed on his ankle. Not excusing it, kjust saying this photo makes it look worse than it actually was, in my opinion anyway.

I did mean that Bale would be out for 6 months.

Regardless of whetehr they were bad challenges or not, it doesn't detract from the fact that Collymore is a nob.

I'm sure if we go on to win the cup and/or get 4th he'll soon be trying to brown nose it with us.

Thing is though, (and this is totally from their point of view), Adam hasn't tried to cave the chest of an opposition player in, in a world cup final, or broke another players leg, (Holden), not long before breaking another players leg, (Ben Arfa). If he had done those things, Adam would be getting hammered for most probably ruling out the medias darling player of the season. Thats not my view, thats how they, (the media), see it.

The only thing is I don't believe is the Holden challenge, I can't believe it gets the publicity it does, pretty stupid actually. Alonso challenge was pretty bad yes and Ben Arfa's was such a challenge that the Geordies didn't even complain about the incident..
