Ermmmmmmmm no !!

The one thing he does even more than that is, when asked a question, shrug one shoulder and roll his eyes, then blow a bit down his nose as if to say "that was a silly question". He often follows that one up with "This is football".

Mancini Out.

No way. He deserves another season after scraping the league.

Very gracious of you to admit you got it wrong, well done.

Sorry, you seem unable to read. Where did I say I got anything wrong?

You have spent the majority of last two seasons campaigning for him to be replaced, you are now saying he deserves another season after winning the league. Back tracking / admitting you were wrong, tomayto / tomarto.

Hahahahahahaha - "Campaigning". What do you think this is, Hyde Park Corner?

You obviously paid a lot of attention to my posts so you will have seen that I said all season long that if he wins the league he has achieved his objective. Which is what he did. Just. So he deserves a new contract and a chance to carry on the job.

There is nothing I said about Mancini I regret. Not a thing. I'll carry on criticising him, just like any other member of the staff, when I feel he makes mistakes.

Have you got your head around the 3-5-2 yet? ;-)

I can't work out whether Mancini is genuinely naive or not ...... he goes on about a lack of transfer activity that even an idiot could have predicted.

Did he seriously think that City were gonna spend millions this summer , when it's pretty clear that the club want to spend next to nothing without selling first ????

The 'deadwood' remains within our squad , and isn't likely to leave either ..... even RSC is making noises that he's 'content' here again , and Adebayors greed is upsetting City , and putting Spurs off proceeding with any deal.

Platini has put his plans in place to force clubs to live off their annual turnover , and City are having to comply ...... and that's hardly likely to go away.

You have to feel sorry for Mancini , and how long he'll put up with it is anyones guess , he's clearly frustrated already ..... there are others, behind the scenes , that handle transfers and they are working to a briefing from Abu Dhabi , and not to one from Mancini.

It's 'important' that Mancini understands this , this might not be the only quiet transfer window in the coming seasons!

Although I can`t disagree with what you`re saying I would question you over the above.
Surely when Bobby sat down with Khaldoon over his extended contract, transfers and his role, would have been top of the agenda. We know that a Commitee oversees transfer activities, with Bobby rightly sitting in on this, but from what I gather you`re saying,FFPR dictates the course via AD,with Bobby not getting his wishes.
Is that the gist of what you`re saying ?

He's only pushing the envelope...like all good managers do. Ask for ten you'll maybe get five. Baconchops does it all the time, making (seemingly) outlandish statements when all he's trying to do is squeeze more out of his players/bosses/officials etc. Nothing naive about it....pretty shrewd in fact.

Mancini complains of being 'kept in the dark' over transfers , and i think he's telling the truth ..... he's no doubt 'invited' to the top table on occasion to disclose his transfer wishes , but certainly the days of ridiculously heavy spending have gone here , and that's down to Platini as much as anyone ......... City are extremely wary now ....... without the imminent FFP rules i reckon Abu Dhabi wouldn't have been so cautious , and Mancini might well have seen some transfer activity before now , whether we'd managed to shift the 'dead-wood' or not!

Trouble is Mancini is quite right , and we shouldn't rest on our laurels ..... all the big clubs strengthen , and we need as much quality within our ranks as possible to cope with Champions League football.
