I know it sounds daft, but this whole Tevez thing is really exciting me.

I cant wait to see the clubs next move, I know for sure that the club will come out of this with our reputation and class fully intact. This is our chance to make a stand.

IMO opinion, the statement we released saying 'he has been asking for a new contract since October' was a masterstroke. No way would Tevez (or more importantly his agent) have expected us to do that. It is a clear statement that the cant mess us around. We have basically just screwed him and shown him up for what he is.

All this talk of letting him rot in the reserves will never happen. This will go one of two ways. we will flog him to Madrid January (my personal prefrence and bring in Dezko and Torres) or he will issue an appology get his family living over her, and go on a massive charm offensive stating he was depressed about his daughters etc.

The one thing that WILL NOT happen is, we Manchester City Football Club will not be held to ransom by any player. Unlike them dirt red cnuts. we will not bend over and take one like they did from Rooney.

That is my response to the crap I keep hearing off them today, its funny seeing there response when you state that to them!

that is the difference here, we hold all the aces, Tevez need us more than we need him!

I agree in some part but not sure aout Tevez needing us more than we need him?

I am a big believer in the fact that he doesn't want to play at City then F*ck him off! simple, I can't stand these overpaid C*nts moaning when they have the best job there could ever be!!

It's sad but if he doesn't want to be at City then F*ck Off, we will still be here!

I wouldn't call it a master-stroke, it means there is now no way back from this mess and was the act of a jilted lover desperate to get their own back. It's exactly what I would have done but I'm not the CEO of the richest football club in the world.

I'm not excited, I'm gutted.

Never thought I would be able to agree with that last sentence, but I think most fans will agree with you.
It's hard to imagine being able to replace a player with such a return on goals as Tevez has maintained in the last 18 months, but, when you weigh up the chances he's missed, he could have had treble the number of goals. Maybe we'll sign the guy who truly will put them all away - or maybe he's already at the club.....
The rest of the team can cover for Tevez's phenominal work rate.
Even if he stays now, he's damaged goods I'm afraid and things will never be the same - I for one will find it very very difficult ever to chant for him again.
Great shame because he has been fantastic.

spot on. All we need to do is ensure that whatever we does with tevez is the best decision for the club, whatever that entails. It's not about the money if he wants to go to Argentina and stay there then i'd be willing to let him go for very little. We must ensure we show the world just how much class we have. Come on MCFC do us proud!!

what I meant mate was that by him have 3 1/2 years of his contract left, he need us to agree to him going, therefore he needs us more than we need him.

its unlike shrek who could have walked away for £5m (his last years sallery) in the summer

He's scored shit loads of goals for us, but I actually would be disappointed to see him pull on the shirt again after this. It excites me in regards to who we will buy as a replacement, and it excites me to see how the management manage the situation. I want to see him sent to the reserves, or for someone to come in with £35m to buy him. In the past I would have expected us to buckle and accept a pittance for him, but I think we will stay strong on this one and hold out for a bid which reflects his worth. If a club comes in with that money, off he goes like any other transfer. If no-one comes in with that money, he stays here and rots in the reserves whilst his replacement gains his once idolised status. As I said on another thread, fuck him.
