In 1999 did they get more points than City this season? Did they beat better sides in the two cups?Well they have already forgotten that we have won A Treble - seems it wasn't THE Treble - and the line is already being spouted (606 last night) that if we win THE treble - it won't be as good as one that happened in 1999.
I love a bit of “ethereal” on a Sunday, made my day.Spot on, and while commentators try to convince the world of a successful season for United, our double isn't mentioned, only the chance of a treble, and if the second treble-winning team could compare to the first if it happens. I am 54, and the chance of a double was something ethereal, for nearly the whole of my life.

And in case the world forgets.. PGMOL actually tried to cheat for utd yesterday. We literally did have to play against the VAR team.

Quite honestly, there's was an accidental treble, everything went their way.
Ours has been engineered, managed, even to take into account that we would be playing against VAR decisions.

Having to be so perfect, and to have to take into consideration that the games own administrators will try and engineer the result against you is very sad, but also shows how far we have come in our journey . The fact that the football establishment are now openly cheating to influence a result is something I thought I would never see.
I'm not really bothered. It was their time and they had their moment. I do remember that they were battered by Bayern and had an incredible two minutes.
