It's a 4-3-3 with players who prefer playing centrally in the wide forward roles, looks like the same lack of width we saw under Mancini unless Richards and Kolarov are camped in the opposition half.

And/or it is just a test to to see if a fluid possession-based 4-3-3 can work against a tighter opposition.

I still think there'll be a lack of width.

As I said, the theories and musings weren't too far off.

We'll see if it is possible. In my opinion, he is a better header of the ball, is as mobile, reads the game just as well, and is better at keeping possession than Lescott.

So, as cover, he isn't a bad option.
