Incredibly we are favourites in all comps

Never liked being favourites. Always felt better when winning stuff as the underdogs.
However it does mean that this team is now considered top dog by the football fraternity.
As a City fan for almost 50 years i never thought I’d see this day.
What a time to be a blue.
 
I would hit the wank wall if by some miracle we did the quadruple. Sealing it with a last minute winner in the CL final on the anniversary of "The greatest night in Barcelona"
 
I think I’d die of happiness if we won the quadruple. I wonder what the odds on us winning everything actually is?

As a side note is the community shield for last year or this year, it could be a quintuple.

Pretty much impossible though, but never say never!

Edit:- I just checked paddy power and a quadruple is only 100/1 which seems terrible

No one is talking about us being “set up” in this thread, so it’s not really relevant here. Let’s not turn everything into a tedious agenda debate. It gets pretty tiresome.

It’s testament to a truly attention-grabbing domestic showing last year plus universal admiration of Pep.

I remember the scum being favourites from our bookies to beat Barca in the champions league final against Peps all conquering team, I got Barca at evens, evens I repeat, and won a pretty penny....

Not surprised to see us league favourites and for the domestic cups - but I am slightly surprised that we are CL favourites. But that is now testament to how we are seen across the footballing world and I take that as a massive complement.

I hope we succeed in securing back to back league titles but the icing on the cake would be a CL win alongside it. Not just to stick 2 fingers up at UEFA but the likes of Vinny, Merlin & Sergio deserve to have that in their locker because of their quality and what they have brought to our club

And Real having lost Ronaldo.

I'd expect Barcelona to get their act together better, Liverpool will still be a threat in the KO stages, Juventus to continue to be strong. Bayern will be Bayern, and therefore a contender, and I'd throw in Atletico as well for their organised control.

Assuming avoidance in the R16, those 6 and City should be 7 of the last 8.

How many would you not want to play in the QF? Barcelona/Atletico/Liverpool would be ones to avoid.
