Incurable Brain Tumours

Not what sure to say and i can only echo mostly what others have already said.

You're incredibly brave, and i'm glad to see you're living for the future. I really hope you can beat this, and i'm sure you will.

I'm not actually a City fan, I'm a Gooner but i'm glad you got United back for that 8-2 thrashing they gave us. I'm sure all the fans on here will say that win was for you mate.

I went to the Arsenal v City game at the emirates in January, remember a bloke proposed to his g/f in the stadium and the crowd started chanting "you don't know what you're doing". made me chuckle but also makes me think of you and how you could think nothing better than making an honest woman out of your wife to be.

I've donated to the wedding fund in lieu of a football team as i'm in the south west of wales.

Best of luck though fella and i hope the wedding goes brilliantly.

Billy (Danny) somehow I missed this post and have just read it from start to finish.

You are one brave guy mate and the way you seem to be handling the whole situation should be an inspiration to everyone and I believe you are doing exactly the right thing in staying positive and not letting it get the better of you!

With the mentality you have you WILL beat it an hopefully many years from now will look back at this period like it was a bad dream

If there is anything I can do to help let me know (I would hopefully be able to pull a few strings at City if you needed anything as well). I can't make the 6 a side unfortunately but have made a donantion and really hope you get enough money to have a fantastic wedding!!

I'm doing Fanzone for the Liverpool game so will try and plug your donation page as much as I can and hopefully some blues will get their hands in their pockets!!

Stay stong mate and my thoughts are with you and your family!

Danny x

By the way I have just posted the donation page on Twitter hopefully it'll help..

It's great the people coming on and being positive, also a heads up to the 'gooner' we all love the the same thing it's just teams which separate us.

Maybe you can have a word in a few players ears and get them to enter a team? As that is what it is going to take to stop inter yemam from winning the tourney!

Hahahahaha! I jest mate, i just hope those who can make it come, as we are the biggest bunch of fucking misfits outside of a star trek episode! Watching us fail should be worth extra donations alone!

Haven't read all the thread (as I'm too lazy) but Ashton-under-Lyne branch of the Supporters Club will be collecting for Brain Tumour Research at the Santa Stroll (4th December).

If anyone wants to sponsor/donate/get involved - then please see http://www.justgiving.com/mcfc-santa page or e-mail charity@mcsc-aul.co.uk

To Danny - it could well be worth you contacting Sandra at charity@mcsc-al.co.uk as her husband has a "loft lodger" and her father-in-law is the patron of BTR. Maybe they can give you some advice/help/whatever?

cheers
Andy

BTW - if this post is unacceptable in any way then please feel free to delete it (or ask me to, in a pm).
