The inaugural game of the IPL is on now here in Oz, not sure if you have it live. Huge build up with the expected fanfare and Peter Reid is the manager of the Mumbai.

Will this become like the 20/20 cricket IPL or just be a last pay day for some retired stars. The standard is very average by the way.

Tbf, the level is terrible. League 1 level or lower but if it can generate funds for footballers, then it's a success.

Is the Indian Cricket League shown in England at all? How popular is it worldwide? With the MLS growing every year they will have their work cut out, but it's a league I'd watch if it was on the box, but I can't see it becoming that big

The "cricket" is shown live but no real interest in it, but then how can you be interested in "cricket for people that don't like cricket"
