Tbf, the level is terrible. League 1 level or lower but if it can generate funds for footballers, then it's a success.
the thing that worries me most is that they will show meaningless highlights of this indian league instead of live premier league matches, even when there is live matches going on of premier league. they do it with cricket, when there is live football match going they broadcast awful cricketing shows like, swinging shami, alrounder ashwin, run leaker ishant blah blah instead of live football match
I had to resort to streams to watch the Arsenal game because star sports was running Mumbai vs Pune. In both Hindi and English. I appreciate the effort to push football in a big way, but it shouldn't antagonize pre-existing fans, particularly those who follow the Premier League as that's the market which made the ISL (Indian Super League) possible in the first place. Gains from creating new football fans should not be at the cost of irritating older ones, they've got to find a balance.
