Indiana Jones films

The least likely of the three first ones to be made today given the slightly racist (by contemporary standards) content.
Aye the banquet scene alone must be one of the most ignorant portayals of a culture and it's food and smacks of spielbergs usual lack of any knowledge outside of an Americanised world view.

However as an adventure film in the classic sense it is an enjoyable watch

Raiders is my favourite film of all time.

Temple of Doom is underrated and better than the Last Crusade although the “young Indiana Jones” opening to that film is exceptional.

Crystal Skull isn't a patch on any of the above.

Raiders, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade.....

Crystal skull in the bargain bin. There's cheesy adventures with a bit of cheek, and then there is Shia Lebeouf swinging through the trees with an army of monkeys in a CGI nightmare.

Very worried about the new one. Although I think it's been spoiled for me already thanks to click grabbing articles.

Thought they were all shite anyway, haven't seen any of the new ones.
So how can you say they’re ALL shite if you haven’t seen them all?

Anyway for me
Raiders - still don’t get fed up of this
Doom- much darker but still some good set pieces
Crusade- Good introduction of Connery but a couple of characters have been downgraded to comic status
Skull- oh Disney what were you thinking?
Destiny-will go to see it but with low expectations
